Utilizes KPI metrics to monitor, measure and adjust accordingly.•Creates procedures and processes to clearly define the workflow and tasks required to fulfill department objectives and reviews to ensure optimum customer service levels and on-time shipping goals.•Develops and facilitates continuous improvement initiatives in all aspects of the warehouse operation to maximize the department efficiency and effectiveness.•Ensures business system and warehouse management system functions optimally to allow maximum department effectiveness. •Enforces compliance for ISO-9001 quality standards and OSHA safety standards and works with QA on maintaining documentation of warehouse procedures•Ensures warehouse area, warehouse equipment and vehicles are appropriately maintained and kept clean.•Measures and reports monthly department KPIs and results. •Prepares and executes department business plan and initiatives to improve department performance and company viability. •Maintains relationships with other department management to ensure teams are aligned and working towards corporate goals. •Trains and enforces policies, rules and/or procedures of corporation to facilitate continuous improvement.•Responsible for continuous effort at the development, training, auditing and improvement of procedures in the department responsibilities.•Identifies, recommends and pursues professional skills and educational development opportunities for self and staff.
