Acting as the sole instructor of my sections, I am responsible for teaching my students organic chemistry laboratory techniques and information, while also ensuring their safety as they perform experiments.

In the Minbiole lab, I have been responsible for the synthesis and characterization of novel biscationic amphiphiles that have been shown to permeate bacterial membranes. I have aided three projects by synthesizing compounds and characterizing via NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and recrystallizing compounds for x-ray diffraction.
