- MSRC - Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee - This is a 4 County committee looking at ways to reduce vehicle air pollution and we create matching grant opportunities for Cities and agencies within southern California to improve air quality. We have granted millions for replacing vehicles with cleaner buses and trucks. our last program also granted funds for those interested in building natural gas and alternative fueling stations. We are working on a 3 year program to tackle 4 major areas within So Cal, including, dealing with the truck traffic and emissions at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, truck routes and pollution from trucks heading from the ports to the Inland Empire, last mile vehicle deliveries and replacing heavy diesel trucks with future zero and near zero emission trucks that will be coming into the marketplace in the near future.

Metrolink Board of Directors - Representing RCTC I have served on this Board since 2017 as an Alt Board Member for RCTC. This is a 5 County rail transit system with over 550 miles of track within the Counties of Riverside, Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange County and San Bernardino Counties. This is an interesting appointment as the alt and regular board members all attend the board meetings and participate regardless if they may vote on a specific item on that day. I estimate I have been a voting member over 35% of the meetings since I was first appointed to the position. There is a huge future potential with the SCORE program that intends to bring over 10 Billion in improvements prior to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. I have had the pleasure of working with County Supervisors, Mayors and other Council Members from all 5 Counties bringing a broad appreciation to all the coordinated work we accomplish for the benefit of the millions of riders who utilize the Metrolink system, getting cars off the gridlocked freeways and providing peace of mind to those who travel the rails to get to and from employment locations throughout Southern California.

I have served as a Commissioner on the Riverside County Transportation Commisison since December 2014 (from 2014-2015, as the City of Jurupa Valley Alternate Commissioner)., from 2016 - present as the Jurupa Valley Commissioner.I also serve or have served on the following Committees within RCTC and others outside of RCTC, but appointed by RCTC to represent RCTC.Those include - - 91 Express Toll Lanes Committee - consisting of representatives from both RCTC and OCTA - Orange County Transportation Commission working on issues related to the 91 Express lanes Toll facilities and coordination of future projects and programs within the 91 corridor. - Interstate 15 - Committee - deals with Interstate 15 throughout Riverside County as well as issues with surrounding Counties - including future toll lanes considered by SBCTA - San Bernardino County Transportation Authority.Chair and Committee member - Western Projects and Programs Committee - works on issues related to the 10 western Cities and western unincorporated areas within Riverside County. Considers new programs, projects and other items related to transportation issues in the western portion of the county. I was the Chair of this committee during 2019.- Future Funding committee - issues related to bond's and tax initiatives and potential tax ballot measures within Riverside County to assist on how to program projects with existing and potential funding.
