Working with all stakeholders / departments to provide H&S support and to review / update existing H&S arrangements, including fire risk assessments and fire management processes. Autonomous role. Initially engaged on an interim basis (permanent in October 2018) to review and then manage all aspects of H&S and a large portion of operations at the school. Introduce / maintain H&S compliance monitoring and reporting function. Standardised all school risk assessments. Complete review of existing policies. Engaged with stakeholders inc. governing body, boarding house teams, on site events team, external contractors and people booking the facilities, academic, coco, administration, estates, operations and act as the H&S reference point at the school, including queries raised by Insurer / HSE. Review existing fire prevention arrangements and initiating an upgrade programme. Responsible for establishing school wide Covid risk assessments and implementing / monitoring of actions and countermeasures throughout the pandemic. Responsible for the management of a small team of staff. Introduced a matrix of staff training requirements for all staff working in the school. Engage with stakeholders and department heads to develop / improve the H&S culture and compliance. Review operations team to ensure staff have the required skills and to uplift their interest in their roles, ready for future expansion of the school.

Appointed to realign a customer facing support services contract, where performance and a number of important projects had become severely compromised. Review included: Stakeholder engagement, staff competencies, role mapping and coaching. H&S, governance, policies and processes, statutory/routine and reactionary maintenance, (PPM's) supplier contract management (KPI/SLA). Conclusion of fitting out project/snagging. Areas of responsibility include: Projects, Facilities Management (hard/soft services) Hospitality, Catering, H&S, security, housekeeping and Office Churn. Managing a team of 10 staff, carried out a gap analysis of skills required vs current staff skills and arranged a training programme that also considered the requirements for known future activities, of the London office
