In my past position as Project Engineer, it was my responsibility to aid in design, testing, and qualification of new products, as well as oversee thermal and distribution testing of customer products. Because Cryopak focuses on cold chain packaging, there is a significant emphasis on temperature controlled products, where different types of insulation and phase change materials are used to suit customer requirements. In addition to the development and lab side of the job, I also am responsible for performing cost evaluations and creating presentations for the sales team. More recently, I have also been working with the production team to improve manufacturing processes. Cryopak has allowed me to cast a wide net and gain a diverse set of skills.

At Dialight, I was an intern in the Mechanical Engineering department. The main function of my position was to perform mechanical evaluations on new industrial lighting products. Products underwent vibration testing, water ingress testing, and thermal testing. Through this internship I was able to gain practical experience in a hands on environment as well as some valuable insight into the design process.

At Aeroflex, I worked under a mechanical engineer in the drafting department. My main role was to assist the engineers and drafters with updating drawings in Solidworks and AutoCAD. A lot of the tasks that I performed involved converting two-dimensional drawings into 3-dimensional ones.
