Oversee the maintenance operations in 5 buildings including Big Rapids, Cedar Springs, Houghton Lake, Gladwin, and Newaygo. Soon to add a new building in Portland. This includes on call, emergency travel, assisting individual building maintenance technicians with troubleshooting, working with them, and filling in for them as needed. Manage personnel, schedules of buildings, work with building general managers, nurses, and corporate staff to see that everyone’s needs are being met. Building maintenance involves grounds, snow blowing, painting, HVAC, lights, electrical, TV hook ups, carpeting, and resident transportation.

Overseeing custodial workers and order supplies for the upkeep of buildings, including floor waxing, carpet scrubbing, bathrooms, operating machinery, and mixing chemicals. Work alongside custodians as needed.
