Perform case management through telephonic contact with providers from all military branches to coordinate COVID-19 testing, vaccination, and quarantine in compliance with CDC, DOD, Hawai’i state, and local command guidance. Screen, assess, and educate patients calling the COVID hotline to determine testing and quarantine needs and ensure patients’ understanding to facilitate appropriate return to work. Coordinate testing in accordance with host nations’ requirements for service members and their dependents on official travel. Meet with military leadership to develop vaccination plans to ensure mission readiness in the current environment of COVID exposures. Ensure public health follows up with positive cases for contact tracing.
