Brian is a multifaceted individual ​with talents in many different areas of business, staff management and systems design among other things​. His responsibilities are broad and touch on all aspects of the Channel Zero operation. Though generally he is responsible for the day to day operations of as many as eleven television channels, he is a hands on individual.​ Cost savings is a significant part of Brian’s responsibilities and over the years Brian has saved the business tens of thousands of dollars a year through many different initiatives.​ In addition to the aforementioned list of assets Brian brings to the table, he is also tasked with building maintenance, ​construction projects, IT and Engineering design and implementation, ​all hardware selection for every aspect of the business, ​software development for all internal projects and Vendor management.Brian is also responsible for managing and mentoring the software development team that is responsible for many projects of all sizes over the years in many different languages.A sample of the projects that have been completed recently are:*The design and build of a file based workflow for a television newsroom. Intended to bring the newsroom out of the analog video tape world into the HD file based world.*Design and building of a new digital specialty channel Bloomberg TV Canada. With the control room in one city and the studios in two other cities.*The build and launch of a Canadian originated US Hindy language childrens channel.*designed and managed the second floor renovation of Channels Zero's second floor.
