• In this role, I support IT initiatives for the FedEx Custom Critical transportation management and brokerage business units. Some responsibilities and projects include:
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and customers to discuss their needs or pain points and identify where IT solutions could be used to add value. Prioritize those needs with the business.
• Working with stakeholders to define scope of projects and gather requirements.
• Reviewing business requirements with IT teams and collaborate to design solution to best achieve business goals, balancing solutions and costs.
• Creating business requirement and functional design documents used by the business and IT.
• Working directly with development and QA teams to build and test solutions.

• In this role, I lead a development team supporting Genco’s parcel audit and negotiation business unit. Some responsibilities and projects include:
• Lead IT initiative to onboard a new product offering which provides over 8 million prescription deliveries to veterans each year from seven fulfilment locations.
• Responsible for the overall direction and architecture of internal software used to support the parcel audit and negotiation business, which included a customer base with a combined annual spend of over $700 million.
• Managing a development team of three to four people.
• Working with the business to identify features, set priorities and estimate cost.
• Leading the development team to ensure enhancements are completed on time and within budget.

• Analyzing parcel carrier contract proposals resulting in over $2 million of dollars in savings for our customers.
• Managing multiple customer accounts with an annual spend of $50 million
• Delivering reporting and analysis to customers which provided visibility into shipping patterns and identify ways to reduce cost.
• Providing parcel invoice auditing services, submitting refunds and recovering money for our customers.
