Day-to-day substitute teacher at various Chicago Public Schools. Certified in K-12 Physical Education, with a minor in Health Education. Duties include filling teacher vacancies, co-teaching classes, and maintaining a positive, safe, and productive learning environment for all students.

In addition to aquatics, I coach instructional hockey at the Park Ridge Park District. We are an affiliate and feeder program for the Northern Express Youth Hockey Association. I have taught skating and fundamentals of hockey to individuals who are looking to improve their skills, as well as individuals who have never skated or played hockey before. I have recently completed my USA Hockey Level II Certification.

Park Ridge Illinois

I began as a lifeguard and swim instructor with the Park Ridge Park District in 2004. In 2010, I got promoted to the position of assistant manager, and in 2012, became the head manager at my designated facility. As a manager, I have assisted our aquatics supervisor in training and licensing lifeguards. Additionally, I have run a number of in-service trainings for lifeguards and swim instructors. In May of 2014, I obtained my Lifeguard Instructor license through Jeff Ellis & Associates. As a swim instructor, I have taught children and adults of a variety of skill and age levels both fundamental and advanced swimming techniques and skills. As a lifeguard and pool manager, it is my responsibility to ensure a safe aquatic experience for our guests at all times, and respond to emergencies as necessary.
