I was hired and shortly promoted to Sergeant in 2021 and assigned to Day Rotation Alpha. I received secondary responsibility as a K9 handler and completed N.N.D.D.A. Certification while maintaining responsibility over other Deputies during the same timeframe. I was selected as O.I.C. over a newly formed Special Reaction Team as a P.O.S.T. certified SWAT Officer and was responsible for completing the Standard Operating Procedure. Upon returning from my third deployment in 2024, I was assigned further responsibility as the department's Patrol Narcotics Deputy, conducting street-level interdiction, surveillance, and preliminary investigations from citizen drug tips and street information while maintaining availability to supervise patrol shifts when needed.Certifications/Awards- NNDDA K9 Cert

Enlisted on December 20th, 2008, as a 31B (Military Police) and completed OSUT in January 2010. Assigned to 268th MP CO, where I deployed as a member of a Quick Reaction Force platoon located at Camp Virginia Kuwait, responsible for patrolling the AO and reacting to threats. Upon returning, I volunteered with the 251st MP CO as a Guard Force/QRF/TAA Team member located at Camp Sabalu-Harrison, Parwan Provence, Afghanistan. I was promoted to SGT and assigned to train and advise the Afghan National Army Military Police Force on proper Entry Control Point Operations. I have spent three overseas training rotations at NSTA-Nova Sella, Bulgaria, and Copenhagen, Denmark. I completed an assignment as a Ground Recon Agent with the Counter Drug Task Force assigned to the Jackson-Madison Co Metro Narcotics Unit. During this tenure, my team assisted in the interdiction of multi-kilos of scheduled narcotics. I attended a secondary MOS school for unit readiness by acquiring 31E (Internment/Resettlement Specialist). I recently returned from a third deployment as a USCENTCOM Customs and Border Clearance Mission Leader assigned to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, with a further assignment to various Forward Operating Bases in North-East Syria. Metro Narcotics Unit with the mission to support the detection, interdiction, disruption, and curtailment of drug trafficking activities and use through the application of military unique skills and resources. Bridge the divide between civilian law enforcement and the military by bringing core DOD capabilities and resources to bear against drug related threats while leveraging the Guard’s unique legal ability to operate on U.S. soil and abroad.
