    I formed Digitech Systems in August 2001 offering a range of Digital Video recorders, CCTV cameras and ancillary products. I was able to increased the product availability and general sales to over £890K.The majority of the sales was concentrated in the north from Birmingham upwards including Scotland and Northern Ireland to the Security & Electrical wholesale market, including customers such as CEF(Challenger), Alarm Supplies, WF Electrical, Enterprise & one based in the south TLC Electrical. In 2002 I purchased the assets of Adeva Technology adding a domestic range of CCTV products to our range and Maplin Electronics to our customer portfolio. At the initial formation of Digitech Systems I employed 1 member of staff increasing to a workforce of 15 members of staff and 2 Directors. I gained experience developing my import and export skills and had an excellent rapport with both suppliers and customers within the UK and Far East. Unfortunately due to personal reasons I had to close the business in 2010.
