The Office of Auditor is responsible for coordinating the city's account payables, payroll, management reporting, budget preparation and monitoring finances. In addition, the office coordinates the municipality's annual audit and prepares the City's Comprehensive Annual Finance Report. The Office of the Auditor also is responsible for the City's Management Information System that records, stores and reproduces internal financial information along with supporting the municipality's computer network to include employee PC work stations. In addition the Auditor’s Office provides certified birth/death certificates for those born in Ohio and those who passed away in Parma, Ohio.

Evaluate and determine the appropriate adjustment of property values for commercial and residential establishments in Cuyahoga County.  Represent the Auditor’s Office at the Board of Revisions’ hearings to determine if an adjustment in property value is warranted Analyse testimony and evidence provided to the board for fair determination Communicate clearly with taxpayer to ensure that all the pertinent facts for each case have been accurately and concisely understood Collaborate with board members and determine the appropriate action to be taken on the complaint
