Supported official response for congressional queries relating to military construction and command’s posture in Africa.-Coordinated long-term requirements for operations and logistics support of component commands and 3 other combatant commands.Operations Team Chief- Led 34 person team comprised of military, civilian and contractor support personnel, responsible for crisis management, timely dissemination of critical information and intelligence and tracking of ongoing operations on the continent of Africa for a US Combatant Command.- Detailed as the Commander’s representative to lead crisis response and ensure compliance with CDRUSAFRICOM Title 10 and COCOM responsibilities in Africa. Advised Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Presidential Appointee on all US - Canadian defense matters and led the development of strategic plans for the defense of the US and Canada.Recognized subject matter expert on strategic plans and planning processes for the Bi-national North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). Successfully led the implementation of operational guidance and implementation of new mission set following Department of State renewal of the NORAD Agreement. Coordinated and drove consensus among key military leaders for the implementation of strategic level plans for the defense of US and Canada.Successfully led 4 senior level political-military conferences for the promotion of US strategic policy objectives. As Executive Assistant to a Presidential Appointee, drafted correspondence to POTUS for recommendations for the enhanced defense of the US, Canada and Mexico.

Deployed with joint Air Force and Navy detachment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Flew over 40 combat missions in support of US and Iraqi Special Forces. Conducted detailed mission planning and provided critical ISR support for Special Forces’ teams on ground.Successfully integrated and formalized ad hoc logistics with joint forces and fleet commander, resulting in a 15% increase in combat readiness of four Navy helicopters.

Directed all flight and ground activities for 68 combat aircrew members, including ground and simulator training, mission planning, routine training and battle group deployments. Programmed and executed all flight hour costs and training requirements above established objectives and metrics. Executed flight hour budgets within .05% of cost allocations. Awarded 2004 Officer of the Year as the most outstanding squadron officer among 7 squadrons.

Us Navy

Led 45 Instructor Pilots and directed all flight and ground activities for the training and production of 240 student pilots. Outperformed every other Primary Training squadron with 15 less pilots and 20% less resources. Led squadron to award of US Navy’s highest honors for pilot production and quality training. Cited for achieving highest (most successful) pilot training rates in the Naval Air Training Command.
