My name is Brian Dowling, my friends see me as a fish geek, I see myself as someone who loves what they do. I have been in the fish industry since my senior year of high school. I operated my own business for many years, and currently work at a large fish wholesaler in Lansing Michigan. I found my 6 years of business ownership far more valuable than any college courses I took as it was countless real world eye opening experiences. Those 6 years also taught me everything I know about the saltwater industry from fish care and fish knowledge to sales and customer service. I grew up on a lake in Michigan where i spent each and every summer. After graduation I moved to Florida where i continued to run my own business. After meeting what would turn out to be my wife, we moved back to Michigan to be closer to family.
