Review and close out of punch list items identified during system walk downs.Aug 2009 - July 2013Part of the BP Engineering team, supervising the FPSO build and assisting the BP Completions and Commissioning teams as necessary.Responsible for approving the piping design for the hull (SHI), topsides (AKER) and turret (SBM), ensuring compliance with project standards, based on NORSOK standards for topsides and turret and DNV rules for the hull. Also, support the Working Environment engineer to ensure all piping design meets the requirements for ‘Working Environment’ NORSOK standard S-002. Assessment of the piping design, including working environment and mechanical handling was initially carried out by review of the ‘PDMS’ and ‘Navisworks’ models, then verified on site.Report to Engineering Team Leader on a weekly basis, advising of progress in design/construction and status of all queries. After transfer to Norway responsible for implementation of design changes in yard at Stord and provide onshore support from Stavanger when vessel moved to location for hook-up.Familiar with following NORSOK Standards; L-001 (Piping & Valves), L-002 (Piping Design), L-CR-003 (Piping Details), L-CR-004 (Piping Fabrication), L-005 (Compact Flanges), R-001 (Mechanical Equipment), R-CR-002 (Lifting Equipment), R-003 (Safe Use of Lifting Equipment), R-004 (Insulation), S-002 (Working Environment), S-003 (Environmental Care), Z-CR-002 (Component Identification) & Z-DP-002 (Coding System).
