Additionally, led 18 Directorates in executing the Combined Forces Air Component Commander's intent, answering critical inquiries, and providing executive level recommendations.

Joint Base Andrews, Maryland

Directed a 60-person Provisional staff chartered to build a new organization serving as the Air Force's single intermediate headquarters to provide mission support services to Airmen and Family programs to 77 major installations, 10 Major Commands, and 2 Direct Reporting Units.

Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska

Commander of a 5,100-person joint military and civilian team consisting of four Air Force Groups & 15 staff agencies. Developed and executed an annual budget of $397 million while maintaining a $15 billion physical plant across an 84,000 acre installation. Led an All-Star multi-skilled team at Pacific Air Force's (PACAF's) largest base; defined joint base excellence with 9-10 Air Force-level and 59+ PACAF-level awards in each of 2012 and 2013.

Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan

Commander of the largest civil engineer group in the Air Force with two squadrons totaling 1,600+ personnel. Directed execution of a $211 million annual budget to operate, maintain, and protect $8 billion in facilities and infrastructure. Operated the Department of Defense's largest military family housing activity with 7,895 homes on six installations on Okinawa.

Kabul, Afghanistan

Deputy Director for a 118-person Joint Functional Command to synchronize and integrate Engineer actions across the Combined Joint Operations Area-Afghanistan. Worked closely with US and Multi-national Forces to prioritize construction efforts in support of US & Coalition forces, along with that needed to support growth and deployment of Afghanistan's National Security Forces and National Police. Led negotiations with Afghanistan Ministry of Defense officials regarding US use of Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan lands to support a US 30,000 troop surge.

Andrews Afb, Md

Commander of a 467-person military & civilian organization providing facility programming/design/construction, explosive ordnance disposal, fire protection, housing, and environmental services fora $3.6 billion physical plant supporting 5 Wings and 65 additional mission partners. Executed a $978 million, 50-year privatization plan for military family housing, providing 887 newly constructed or renovated homes.
