I have been working in the green industry since I was a young kid. Initially I learned the basics from my family starting with my Great-grand parents and Grandfather and eventually (at 13yo) got my first job working at a local garden center. I continued in the field through high school and decided to make a career of it. I was previously an assistant nursery manager for 6 years. I then took on the task of learning/educating myself about the agronomy side of the business and worked for a large nationwide company for 6 years before deciding to apply with a family owned company in Souderton, Pa. I since have joined Turfpro Inc. in Macungie, Pa. and the company has been flourishing. I have always valued my customers as more then just a 'number'. Good customer service is really lacking these days and has become more important to people. Treat customers with honesty and respect, never try to 'BS', be straight forward, educate customers and treat them how you would want to be treated and you will have a customer for life.
