As a result of the acquisition of Allied Wireless by AT&T, I have transitioned over to AT&T Mobility. My current day-to-day responsibilities have not changed as we (as a whole) are still working on the transition and migration of our customer base from the former billing system and network technology to the new.Primarily, I serve as the Production Lead for the former Allied Wireless Data Warehouse- responsible for maintenance of our databases and controlling user and system access. Additionally, due to the migration, I have taken on additional development tasks for automating data extracts to various teams on the AT&T side.

I have spent the last couple of years working in SQLServer- doing ETL in SSIS, performance tuning queries for users, engaging in production support activities, and learning some basic DBA tasks.My original job role was to be that of a requirements analyst and technical writer, but as the need presented itself, I became more heavily involved in the development side of my group. Through this, I was able to add to my T-SQL skills as well as learn a new tool in SSIS.Eventually, again due to need, I moved into a predominately production support role. This has involved monitoring the state and health of our Data Warehouse databases, maintaining user permissions and logins, acting as troubleshooter/debugger for failed production processes, and becoming an 'Accidental DBA'.

Through this position I have gained valuable knowledge of Informatica ETL tool and programming in Unix Korn shell. I have learned much about the project implementation process including design, construction, and production installation.
