Profile bio

About Brian Eichhorn

I am driven to create a major impact in life. I believe that time is the most valuable asset that any person and business have, and should never be taken for granted. Time is limited and can never be brought back, so I focus on making every moment count by accomplishing tasks not only effectively, but as efficiently as possible. My past work experiences of being a Content Analyst, Financial Service Representative, Shelf Stocker, Salesperson, and Front Desk Agent have taught me very valuable skills and lessons that, I believe, heighten my value as a worker. As a Content Analyst for LinkedIn, I thoroughly read and analyzed extensive content to label items according to LinkedIn's policy guidelines. This entailed me to leverage and heighten my reading comprehension and analytical skills on a consistent basis, instilling in me just how valuable these traits are to a workplace. As a Financial Services Representative at TD Ameritrade, I took inbound and outbound client calls providing them assistance based on account issues or requests they had. This role taught me that clients value workers to always have knowledge and understanding of the topic that is being discussed but still value workers who have the desire to seek out help when they are ignorant of a subject. Being a Shelf Stocker at Walmart, I tended customer questions and directed them to relevant products they were looking for. At Walmart, I was reinforced of how impactful having a drive to help others has on people. In my sales job working for OSL, I learned and experienced what it means to provide value to customers, as well as understanding and leveraging the emotional motivational triggers that lead customers to purchase products. Throughout my experience as a Front Desk Agent at Best Western Plus, I bettered my multi-tasking and prioritization skills by working numerous solo shifts during rush hour, all while being given the same expectation of checking in guests, answering phone calls, and providing room service at an exceptional level. College education also plays a large role in my skill set. Studying and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Grace University has made me skillful in human interaction, human behavior, conflict management, public speaking, writing, and even negotiating – all skills that can play very well into various fields of work.I hope to take my drive to make an impact, my value for efficiency, and my skillset and tailor them to a company that is excited about what I have to offer them.

Client Account Services Representative

Current

Westlake, Texas, Us

Processing of client requests routed via fax, mail, and email through the Enterprise Workflow systems, as well as processing changes to client accounts resulting from periodic exception reporting.

Mar 2023 - Present

Customer Service Representative

Montreal, Quebec, Ca

(Was Laid Off)As a Customer Service Representative, I worked in a call center where I took various amounts of inbound and outbound client calls, providing solutions to specific inquiries which mainly involved processing and adjusting orders. While on calls, I also acted as source of information for general questions that the client may have. In addition to that, I acted as a mediator when clients got frustrated at outcomes that did not meet their expectations - working to provide the client with the best solution I could provide. In the case where I wasn’t able to provide a solution within the policy guidelines that the client was happy with, I would offer to escalate the call to a supervisor or manager to assist the complaint. In the instance where I received calls that either had nothing to do with my department or that I would sense a certain department was better trained to answer a specific question, I would transfer the call to the appropriate department. As a Customer Service Representative, I was also required to use Salesforce with the expectation of opening and closing cases within a reasonable amount of time, noting all the necessary information about the case in the side notes. I would receive new cases from sales and the operations department, of whom I had to stay in consistent contact with via Slack, giving constant updates and feedback about the case. Due to the common situation of getting multiple cases at once, and having there be a daily cutoff time for all new orders, I had to heavily rely on my prioritization skills at all times to figure out which case would be the most time consuming and that would need to be completed first, while still assuring that each case I received got completed within a reasonable time frame.

Content Analyst

Sunnyvale, Ca, Us

Being a Content Analyst at LinkedIn, my responsibilities involved reviewing and labeling reported content appropriately, restricting accounts when necessary, and escalating content when needed. The type of content that I reviewed and labeled ranged from posts, comments, images, articles, inbox messages, and videos that were shared on the LinkedIn platform. When an item came into my queue, my job was to use appropriate documentation to figure out whether an item went against any of LinkedIn’s policies or not. If a piece of content violated LinkedIn’s policy, I was to strike the member’s account for the policy the item went against and write in relevant info explaining my reason. When an account accumulated one or three strikes, depending of the type of policy, I was to restrict the account by filling in the relevant restriction template. For certain policies, my responsibilities involved escalating content via email to gain restriction approval first, before proceeding to restrict. My job also involved escalating content when I was faced with difficult items that I was having trouble coming to a conclusion on, as well as when trying to overcome an item’s language barrier to understand what’s being said. When I received the response, my job was to go back to the item to make the necessary labeling adjustments based on the provided feedback.

Financial Services Trainee

Omaha, Ne, Us

As a Financial Services Trainee at TD Ameritrade, I was responsible for learning and mobilizing through the necessary online platforms registered representatives need to use to assist client needs successfully during phone calls. I was also given the responsibility of studying the SIE licensing material to pass the SIE exam to continue progression towards becoming an official Financial Representative. Moreover, I was given the responsibility of taking client calls providing them with relevant information and direction to solve their problems while establishing excellent service overall to heighten client experience as much as possible.

Walmart Associate

Bentonville, Arkansas, Us

My job involved possessing the skills of physical strength, customer service, and conflict management. As a Cap 2 associate, I helped unload and sort the freight from trucks that came to my store. I then stocked the freight on the shelf, while making sure to always initiate and provide help to customer needs. When a customer got upset, I was to be a mediator and resolve the situation in a relaxed manner to help influence the customer to have a more positive shopping experience.

Feb 2019 - Sep 2020

Sales Specialist

Mississauga, Ontario, Ca

My job involved selling phones and phone accessories at local Walmart's, provide customers with useful recommendations on what phone and carrier best suites their needs and lifestyles, and help customers locate the products they are searching for. Also, on every hour I had to advertise over the intercom about Walmart's phone deals and how they are more inexpensive than the offers at carrier stores.

Jul 2018 - Oct 2018

Front Desk

Ca

At Best Western Plus, I had the privilege to check in and out hotel guests, answer incoming phone calls, create reservations, provide room service when needed, shuttle guests to and from their desired destinations, fold laundry, change coffee, and tend the lobby to assure that it is neat and professional. Although, the job tended to stress a lot of multi-tasking, which was never my strong-suite, this position helped me grow into a better overall worker.

Aug 2017 - Jul 2018

Valet

Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, Us

At Towne Park, I had the pleasure of welcoming incoming guests and tending their vehicles if requested. I also provided directional assistance to make it easier for guests to find their way around the hotel and the area as well. This was a really fun job because it gave me the opportunity to not only serve people, but to converse with people to help make their stay better.
