1. Performs technical reviews and prepares responses to Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) Technical Feedback Reports (TFBR's) to include complete tracking, interfacing with technical codes, In- service Engineering Agent and Shipboard personnel to resolve problems for individual systems/ equipment. 2. Develops Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) documentation for new ship construction and/or new systems/equipment configuration using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concept. Maintenance procedures for organizational levels are effective and applicable to minimize manning levels and maximize ships mission reliability.3. Develops technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, trouble-shooting procedures, drawing updates operating procedures, maintainability improvements, and test reports. 4. Researches technical manuals, blue prints, ship's drawings, and conducts ship visits to validate PMS coverage for shipboard and shore station equipment. Establish, update, and maintain the engineering corporate history of developed PMS documentation, to include Maintenance Index Pages MIPs and Maintenance Requirement Cards MRCs.5. Establishes and maintains a filing system, databases and engineering corporate history for systems/equipment under his/her cognizance. 6. Coordinates with acquisition managers and In- Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) s to ensure accuracy and adequacy of PMS coverage for modified or newly installed equipment onboard Naval Ships and Shore commands. 7. Supports systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise. 8. Reviews and certifies technical data contained in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) plan for highly complex systems/equipment is accurate, current and complete for ships undergoing construction, conversion, or extended idleness.
