    Mr. Gerson was a founding member and senior partner with Solar Capital Partners. Solar manages two publicly traded business development companies, Solar Capital Ltd. (NASDAQ: SLRC) and Solar Senior Capital Ltd. (NASDAQ:SUNS), with approximately $1.4 billion and $350 million of investment capacity, respectively. Solar provides all forms of senior and junior debt capital including senior secured and unsecured loans, uni-tranche, second lien, private high yield and mezzanine. Solar primarily originates transactions with middle market companies backed by financial sponsors or entreprenuers either directly, with partners or through intermediaries. While Mr. Gerson has experience and invests in a broad variety of industries, he spearheaded Solar's specialty and commercial finance investment efforts. Mr. Gerson was also responsible for managing the firm's origination efforts, was actively involved in strategic development, and sat on investment committee.
