Brian's experience includes residential, commercial and educational projects that span all sizes and budgets. He is currently on the path to licensure. Working in the field for seven years in the Tallahassee area, he has developed lasting relationships with consultants and contractors alike. He is always eager to assist in the design process and carry this enthusiasm in the technical development of the building through construction administration. He focuses on the concepts of connectivity and integration. His fascination with the technical aspects of a building’s construction allow him to collaboratively integrate diverse disciplines to produce responsive solutions. “One of my favorite expressions is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, “The noblest pleasure is the joy of understanding” and this rings true to my curiosity relating to building construction. I like learning as much as I can regarding every discipline related to building construction and how the individual pieces fit together to make a whole.” Brian appreciates the process of navigating planning approval, zoning regulations and building code challenges. He does not look at the individual program requirements but at the project as a whole. Brian believes in blending architecture with the municipal fabric integrating surroundings, local lifestyle and sustainable design practices. He enjoys working with clients to establish up to date and superior ways in which people can use their building. “I want to understand why the users of a building use their space in the way that they do and what we can do to make that experience even better.” He is always willing to assist the younger members in the firm with any inquiry or demanding task facing them. His belief that architects have a social, environmental and economic responsibility allow him to realize the true value of a project.
