Researched and explored the AS/400 operational system, rebuilt and customized it. The result was a lower labor cost, as fewer employees were required. * Revised entire Hazardous Material operation. Created course, taught and tested employees, ensuring they satisfied the requirements and avoided sizeable government penalties. * Wrote the Standard Operating Procedures Manual for all facets of the shipping department which has improved new employee training and operational efficiency.
