As a mid-level developer he developed an internal web application that handled a "blacklist" database. The application allowed internal staff to manage user profiles for a list of applicants who were delinquent in their payments. The application then provided a static library that could be used on the external applications to query for "blacklist" users to prevent them from completing their application. This application used an Oracle database and web container, Spring Webflow, and Java Server Faces.As an entry-level developer he worked on a small team to develop an application to read and adapt insurance data from raw client exports to a common data model. His primary role was to migrate existing C++ code to Java. He was also responsible for developing BASH scripts to migrate users from their legacy systems.
