Provides patrol services to the casino area, parking lot, and any auxiliary areas as deemed necessary looking for suspicious or undesirable patrons, minors, and/or safety hazards. Assigns post rotations, manages leave schedule, monitors working conditions, sustains flight morale and welfare and resolves conflicts and personal issues. Analyzes and oversees enforcement of security procedures to controlled and Protection Level 1 restricted areas within the USSTRATCOM Headquarters; a critical nuclear facility housing the Underground Command, Joint Intelligence, and Joint Coordination Center, including 18 Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities. Initial on-scene commander for all security incidents affecting the Headquarters complex. Responsible for protecting the Commander in Chief, USSTRATCOM, and his assembled staff. Coordinates security and honors details for visiting dignitaries including high-ranking United States and foreign military and civilian leaders

Directly responsible for security of all alert crew and distinguished visitors, including the President of the United States, the Secretary of Defense, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and their respective cabinets while on board or in close proximity of the NAOC E4-B aircraft. Responsible for securing aircraft resources valued at over $4.1 Billion. Provides armed security and anti-hijacking procedures for the Protection Level (PL)1 alert aircraft while on the ground, as well as airborne, through close in/close boundary security. Ensures assigned team members are qualified and trained to support both main operating base and forward operating base operations in support of NAOC. Ensures all bases comply with DoD, AF, and NAOC Requirements. Supervises highly trained security team of four security members. Conducts training of all assigned personnel to ensure compliance with NAOC support requirements.

Provides security for normal and emergency operations affecting the Protection Level (PL) 1 Airborne Command Post. Responsible for immediate response and effective deployment counteracting hostile actions directed against PL resources. Provides continuous security for PL 1 alert aircraft through close in/close boundary sentry duties and entry control procedures. Enforces compliance with the two-person policy and the two-man concept for close-in security operations. Directs and controls installation traffic during normal and emergency security operations. Confiscates expired identification cards, issues armed forces traffic tickets, provides initial reporting for major/minor vehicle accidents, and enforces state and military laws effecting military discipline.

Entrusted with safeguarding and transporting highly classified, time-sensitive, inbound and outbound DoD material through a global network of 20 stations. Ensures strict compliance with DCS, DoD, and JCS requirements, to include receipt, handling, guarding, storage, transfer, and accountability. Plans, coordinates, and supervises DCS dispatches, and ensures proper preparation of all forms involved with material movements. Performs surface and air missions and rendezvous with customers. Perform special duties and projects as directed by the Station Chief and Station Superintendent.

Ensures the maximum effective firepower is directed toward the threat and that all measures are taken to provide security and safety of the team. Monitors scheduled appointments of the members.Performs those duties related to the Security Police gun and equipment room to include weapons safety procedures, issuance and turn-in, daily inspections for cleanliness of security police weapons, and proper entry control to the gun and equipment room. Responsible for the issue and control of privately owned firearms and ammunition, and firearms and ammunition stored for other government agencies.
