Sr. Data Architect
Current- Design and implement ETL solutions for high volume integration projects using Visual Studio, SSIS and T-SQL - Optimize database performance through configuration, file layout, and index tuning - Develop and document enterprise standards for data systems - Instruct others how to use existing and new technology required by projects or standards - Consult with internal and external teams as new systems are planned to ensure compliance with standards - Create prototype and Proof of Concept implementations of data system components - Design, develop and build data related resources (databases, database objects, ETL processes and projects, queries and code) - Design and deploy AlwaysOn and AlwaysOn High Availability replicas and clusters - Monitor SQL Server performance including query performance, response time, disk usage, AlwaysOn transfer rates - Identify, troubleshoot and resolve database system problems including performance tuning and query optimization - Tune SQL Server performance as conditions require - Research production issues to determine root cause and propose solutions - Research, evaluate, and test new features in SQL Server and other technologies as they are released
