I am a 1989 graduate of Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC with a degree in Business Administration.My career started with Wachovia Bank in May of 1989 in Morehead City, NC. I was employed in the retail banking department, as a personal banker. While in this position, I managed the 4th largest loan Portfolio within the bank.In 1995, I was promoted to Assistant Vice President and relocated to Jacksonville, NC as Private Banking Manager. I spent two successful years in Jacksonville and in 1997, I moved to Charlotte, NC. Upon arriving in Charlotte, I was promoted to Vice President of Wachovia Wealth Management. I was ranked in the top 10% of advisors within the company consistently and finished one year as top producer.I have also spent time with Merrill Lynch, where I earned the Certified Financial Manager designation, Wall Street Capital as a financial advisor and New Dominion Bank as Vice President in Commercial Banking. As Chief Financial Officer and Director of Human Resources at Front Edge Marketing, LLC, I was responsible for the accounting and human resources departments. Within the accounting department, I was responsible for timely and accurate balance sheets, profit & loss, budgeting, etc. I also maintained and improved the internal accounting system to make the department even more efficient. On the human resources side, I was responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the HR policies and procedures for the company. This function ranged from hiring procedures to employee evaluations. Prior to my employment with Front Edge Marketing, I founded One World Motorsports Group. One World is a sponsorship and financial consulting firm that advises NASCAR & NHRA teams. We have worked with teams in both racing series to secure funding and improve client ROI. Our firm implements an integrated approach to the overall sponsorship and marketing strategies.
