- Managed technical projects including the acquisition of hardware, software (including development) and installation. - Acted as “Customer Relationship Manager” for five Head Office departments. This included monitoring, training and provision of their technical needs. - Managed and directed the non-technical components of a LAN/WAN network, which involved visits to all 125 branches of the bank to sell the concept to both senior management and staff while concurrently planning the installation. Approximately 1,000 PC’s were either installed or upgraded. The project came in on time and on budget. Senior management clearly considered the project to have been highly successful and this was evidenced by a substantial bonus.

Responsible for a centralized student loan portfolio of 42,000 loans totaling in excess of $100 million with a staff of 25 employees. Student loans and related services were marketed and serviced via the department throughout the states of Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.- Organized and managed a move to new premises.- Expanded the department to add ancillary services.- Upon the completion of a detailed economic feasibility study, organized and controlled the complete automation of the student loan process utilizing an external vendor.- Marketed the department's products throughout the southeastern U.S.- Undertook and oversaw securitization of loans often involving sales of $10-$20 million when deemed beneficial to the bank. Through servicing these loans, contributed significantly to the non-interest revenue of the bank.- Ensured relationships with the state guarantors remained amicable at all times.- Ensured a high profile marketing program was in place to maintain what had become the #1 bank for student loans & services in the southeastern U.S.- Developed and wrote a complete “Policy and Procedures Manual” for the department.
