After 20 years with Fortune 500 insurer, Aflac, and helping lead the #1 state sales operation in the company, I "retired" at age 40. My career has been spent identifying innovative ideas that disrupt industry norms, and rallying people around those ideas to dramatically change cultures and improve results, and I've continued to so just that.As such, I've helped launch new companies and promoted new initiatives in existing companies, increasing adoption among producers and ultimately creating more sales. These initiatives are primarily aimed at offering employers better options for offering employee benefits and getting better access to employees so they'll have the right coverage when they need it. With 35 years in employee benefits, I still believe what I learned in my earliest years: We succeed at the service others, not at the expense of others.I'm also the author of The Tinderbox Tapes, an inspirational novel. I keynote at conferences, corporate and fundraiser events across the country. My column, "Selling Benefits," appeared monthly in Benefits Selling Magazine for more than 4 years (2012 - 2016).
