I began my career in a unique position that combined sales and project management. My responsibilities consisted of everything from estimating project costs to drawing up competitively priced bids. I have been very successful at connecting with a buyer and communicating the value of what my company can do and exactly how we would do it better than our competition. Once awarded a project, I would manage the project from beginning to completion, mitigating all challenges that arose along the way to ensure we would finish on the projected deadline. The skills I developed in this roll have provided a well-rounded base that has proven invaluable in producing a successful career in project management.
