I oversee the receipt of all universal wastes, i.e., mercury containing lamps, batteries, ballasts, mercury containing devices, oils, and refrigerant. I am also responsible for removal of batteries, circuit boards and inks & toners, as well as special projects. I also assist in EHS related tasks, such as forklift training, CO monitoring, respirator mask fit testing, inspections and mercury readings.

As head of the safety committee, I am responsible for the safety aspects in the Beloit Ave. facility by being the first to address any safety concerns or any improvements that need to be made to ensure everyone's safety. My team and I conduct bi-monthly and quarterly inspections.

Responsible for keeping both the circular and straight belts loaded with materials, Freon recovery, battery and lamp sorting and various other tasks. When promoted to lead, responsible for maintaining production and addressing any issues while continuing to sort batteries, lamps and recover Freon. When moved into current facility, responsible for overseeing shipping & receiving areas and addressing any concerns there.

In charge of setting up presses for orders, getting orders completed in a timely manner, troubleshooting, problem solving and quality of oil seals being produced, as well as communicating with press workers and press mold personnel.
