Hello, my name is Brian, I am a technician, inventor and entrepreneur. I invent simple products that will have long lasting, far reaching social and environmental impact.In 2008 I founded Revolution Marine Outfitting, a successful yacht repair and commissioning company specializing in private sportfishing boats. RMO operates out of Shelter Island Boatyard in San Diego, CA. In 2013, I developed a product called a Doghook, a heavy duty dog leash hitch. Now Doghooks are used around the world in a wide variety of "pet friendly"applications. As an environmental activist and inventor, I was searching for a sustainable transportation option that fit my needs. I have pretty average day to day transportation needs; a 10 mile commute (each way), the need to carry heavy bulky items and the ability to carry a passenger or two (humans and dogs). I searched everywhere but was unable to find a sustainable transportation option that was workable and affordable. At that point I purchased an electric cargo bike and customized it to suit my needs, and Velocker was born. My lockable, lightweight, aluminum panniers worked, and got a lot of attention.
