For my entire career, I have served in a public servant role, initially through multiple roles in the U.S. Army and then in Law Enforcement in varying capacities. I have extensive knowledge across all areas within criminal justice in hands-on criminal scene investigations and patrol duties. I have always had a knack for technology and in 2020 when the IT Director of the Sheriffs Department departed, I was asked to assume responsibilities for our IT infrastructure including all networks and systems. The digital technology we have used over the years in the field has become even more critical in recent years in investigations. This is where I am highly passionate about implementing the most forward-thinking technologies and comprehensive solutions in law enforcement to bridge the gap between public/officer safety/communications. I am an advocate for modernization and effective adoption of emerging technologies; bodycams, drones, tasers, physical/3D security tools/cameras, and mission critical information, data security, software/hardware/systems to optimize accuracy for collecting evidence and providing substantiation of information. I have recommended, launched, implemented, and managed key programs including drone program, body worn camera program, Law enforcement RMS/JMS/CAD implementation and support, 3D documentation of crime scenes and automated license plate reader program as well as serves on committees/boards as a key contributor.Areas I Excel InI am a highly regimented professional with an analytical mindset to research and ascertain critical information, devising comprehensive narratives to formulate well calculated conclusions and resolutions.
