Provide quality customer service to our customers through Grocery department. Rotate product in accordance with Food Lion current stocking and conditioning policy. Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves. Maintain shelf allocation by stocking tag to tag. Understand and adhere to Food Safety guidelines and procedures. Manage store Grocery Department. Directly responsible for supervision Grocery Associates within store(Grocery Stock Crew). Manager operation of assigned store and is responsible for providing direction and instruction to all store associates in the absence of the store manger, assistant store manager or customer store manager. Train and supervise all associates in the grocery department. Maintain proper product level and inventory control of grocery shelves and backroom to include proper ordering and rotation. Ability to analyze situations, identify the problems and implement the best solution. Ability to use the in-Store Computer, scan system registers and wireless hand held unit.
