As a Biotech Specialist at BioCirc, I work with a team of experts to develop and implement innovative solutions for renewable energy production and utilization. We focus on combining major renewable energy sources, such as biogas, hydrogen, and solar, to create sustainable and efficient systems for various applications.I have over 6 years of experience in biogas and biogas upgrading, which I gained during my MSc and PhD studies in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Southern Denmark. My PhD research focused on biological methanation, a process that converts hydrogen and carbon dioxide into methane using microorganisms. I successfully designed, built, operated and upscaled the technology from lab-scale biotrickling filter to a full-scale system placed at Nature Energy Glansager, Denmark, and published multiple papers on the topic. I also have strong skills in project development, project engineering, process optimization and research, which enable me to contribute to missions of advancing green solutions for a better future.
