Developed novelty products and paper goods for over thirty licensed properties. Managed a small team of designers. Made frequent line pitches and product presentations to major entertainment studios (Dreamworks, Children's Television Workshop, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Disney, Marvel, DC, New Line Cinema) in LA and NYC. Developed line plans and design budgets. Worked directly with licensors on product approvals. Developed a large network of outside resources for product development. Properties included: Star Trek, Sabrina, Clueless, Sesame Street, Dilbert, Xena, Baby Looney Tunes, Batman, Small Soldiers, Garfield, Godzilla, Quest for Camelot, Lost in Space.

Developed original and licensed toy lines from concept through production. Was responsible for the design direction of my team's products. Managed in-house and freelance designers, modelmakers, sculptors, and illustrators. Worked with team engineers from preliminary concept and costing through final production. Worked with team marketing to develop product lines, back-stories, and launch strategies. Worked with packaging designers to develop product packaging. Worked with advertising agencies to develop television advertising. Worked with domestic and orient manufacturers throughout entire manufacturing process. Developed and made presentations to senior management, entertainment studios, and outside inventing firms.Lines I worked on included: Littlest Pet Shop, EZ2Do, Fairywinkles, Star Wars.

Developed original toy and product concepts through sketches and models. Directed in-house and freelance modelmakers and designers on projects for both outside clients and ourselves.
