Senior Engineer
CurrentProject Management: program manager for small level of effort sub-contract with a federal agency and backup program manager for a larger prime contract with a separate federal agency. Responsible for invoicing, reports, CDRLs, and briefing status to the government. Business Development and Proposal Support: assist the business development team in researching upcoming opportunities, prioritizing pursuits, and developing teaming arrangements. Assist the proposal team as the primary POC with the overall team, coordinating responses to data calls, and responsible for submitting the MTSI responses.Product Owner: perform the role of product owner of a satellite collection management and situation awareness software tool. Responsible for maintaining the backlog (via Atlassian’s JIRA), prioritizing the epics and tasks for upcoming development sprints, and running the Sprint planning/retrospective meetings. Requires an in-depth understanding of all the needs of a complicated software tool which incorporates 40+ data sources from networks at three separate classifications, uses multiple visualization options (Cesium, Leaflet, Google Earth), conducts internal database queries, performs internal calculations, and provides interfaces with outside tools and users. Software Testing: lead software tester for the satellite collection management and situation awareness software tool. Requires thorough understanding of the intricacies and interactions of all the different components and data relationships. Responsible for writing the test plans for the full suite of capabilities. Analysis: lead analyst in using the capabilities of the satellite collection management and situation awareness tool to perform tailored analysis answering customer and intelligence needs and requirements. Customer Outreach: provide daily customer outreach via email, chat, voice, and/or on-stie support.
