My technical background combined with my extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, are my biggest assets as a Sr. Commodity Agent for Delta Faucet Company. I have a deep understanding of Delta Faucet’s products, processes, and supply base capabilities, which is extremely helpful when managing relationships with suppliers of specific commodities, including: PEX assemblies, electronics, hoses, valves and valve components. As part of Delta Faucet’s commodity teams, I am responsible for setting commodity long term strategies to support the company’s service, costs, quality, and new product development needs.Having been with Delta for over 13 years, I’m considered one of the “senior” team members. I’ve seen lots of changes in the company over the years, and I appreciate the flexible work environment and how we are encouraged to maintain a good balance between work and family.And speaking of family, I love being involved with my kids and their extracurricular activities. I also happen to have quite a big hobby - farming 800 acres of corn and soy beans. I’m known as a professional within the corporate world, but to my family, I’ve always been known as a farmer. There’s nothing quite like spending time on a tractor out in the fields. I actually grew up on a hog farm, so that solid work ethic, combined with hands-on hard work, heavily influenced how I am today. There’s always something broken that needs to be fixed, and I enjoy understanding how things work.
