My main operative at Mechanical Concepts is project managing. I have managed 10 projects at a time ranging from schools, libraries and labs. I have experience in prime contracting with getting bids, estimates, and then managing, scheduling and closing out projects to maintain deadlines. I review and submit on all submittals that come in and out of MCOI. I have experience in submittal exchange, procore, and submittal logs to track approvals, rejections, and release dates. In addition to that I also handle all BIM-related projects with the use of AutoCAD Fabrication and Navis Manage while producing shop (fabrication) drawings. As BIM Coordinator; my goal is to efficiently run through conflicts and issues without creating more work for any trade or general contractor.

From start to finish; my position requires knowledge and experience in creating permit drawings, understanding code requirements, coordination, shop (construction drawings), and as-built drawings. My skills include running ComChecks, drawing in AutoCAD Fabrication, utilizing Navisworks for coordination, communicating with all trades and having an understanding for the architectural and structural drawings. Outside of drafting/engineering I am proficient in close-out documentation, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Office, Windows Operating systems, web content, computer troubleshooting, phone troubleshooting, and fork lift operations.
