My whole life in one facet or another has revolved around transportation. In my early days in law enforcement, I focused my career on crash investigations, DUI taskforce, Buckle UP coalitions, and everything to do with driving safety. Later I drove for UPS for several years, until I became a UPS Supervisor. As a UPS supervisor I took my skills from law enforcement and my experience as a driver and focused on driver training, crash mitigation, defensive driving instruction, and safety mechanics. After two years as a UPS supervisor, I moved into my current role as Director of Safety where I oversee every safety element for a midsize trucking company. This includes DOT / FMCSA compliance, crash investigations, DOT hours of service training and auditing. Auditing trucks / equipment. I oversee LYTX / MOTIVE reviews and coaching. I am an avid believer in servant leadership.
