EIT Certified | MS Engr | BS Biomed EngrExtensive Electrical & Mechanical Engineering experience centered on R&D in the Medical Robotics Lab, developing mechatronic/ electronic systems. Research projects involved functional electromechanical systems with emphasis on medical devices (specifically MRI-usable surgical tech for operating during real-time imaging). Rapid prototyping (3D modeling via CAD software & constructing solid parts via CAM such as FDM/SLA 3D printers) was used extensively to develop tangible, working prototypes (within a few hours, on-site) for testing, evaluation, & iterative refinement/ improvement of the design. Recently I have been developing complex UAS/drone inspection methods for utilities (such as overhead powerlines). I also hold a current Part 107 (commercial) remote pilot certification/license issued by the FAA. I now have the opportunity to grow at AutomationDirect in an innovative, rapidly expanding, and forward-thinking environment, developing and improving robotics used in industrial automation.
