In 1994, Brian Lacey founded Lacey Entertainment, a New York-based worldwide television marketing, production, and distribution company, specializing in innovative and creative approaches in the packaging, production and launching of television series in the U.S. and around the world. Brian Lacey, an experienced veteran of the global entertainment business, is a leader in the creation, production, and marketing of original programs for the U.S. and international marketplace. Active in the entertainment industry for over three decades, Lacey has distributed and/or produced over 3,500 episodes of television programming to over 100 countries in most all genres, including some of the biggest children’s hit series in the past quarter century.Among some of Lacey's more notable global broadcast and home entertainment distribution successes include: "Pokemon", "Yugioh", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (TMNT), "Voltron: Defender of the Universe", "Shin Chan", "Kiva Can Do!", "Widget", "The Mr. Men Show" (Mr. Men and Little Miss), and the light entertainment hit "America's Dumbest Criminals" among others.

From mid-2003 through late 2012, Lacey served as Executive Vice President International for 4Kids Entertainment, managing worldwide TV and video placement of all program content, as well as assisting in structuring co-production arrangements. Among some of the series Lacey managed were "Kirby", "One Piece", "Viva Pinata", "Chaotic" and "Dinosaur King", among others. Each of these programs were broadcast in over 90 countries worldwide.

Lacey was co-founder (along with Peter Keefe) and principal of Zodiac Entertainment, a television program and marketing co-venture formed with Central Independent Television of the UK, where he was instrumental in the global programming success of the company's hit animated series -- "Widget", a multi award-winning contemporary children's classic, "The Mr. Bogus Show", a fresh comedy adventure series, and "Twinkle the Dream Being". Each of these series were broadcast in over 100 countries, becoming entertainment staples for kids around the world. Lacey managed the global merchandise licensing program for these properties, generating over 250 licensed products, including books, videos, toys, apparel, games, promotions and events worldwide.

Lacey's career in entertainment began as Vice President and General Manager of World Events Productions. During his tenure with World Events, Lacey applied creative and marketing expertise to help launch worldwide the action-adventure kids animated series "Voltron: Defender of the Universe", which became an entertainment phenomenon and one of the most successful merchandise licensed properties of the decade. Over two decades later, "Voltron" remains one of the iconic characters in the children’s entertainment industry. This success was quickly followed with the U.S. syndication ratings hit "Denver the Last Dinosaur". The series was seen in more than 90 countries around the world and is widely considered among the first French-American co-production series to enjoy worldwide success.
