Represent the State of Utah Department of Transportation on the Utah County I-15 corridor Expansion. Obtained, warehoused, tested, configured and provided State provided electronic equipment. Received configured and tested Traffic Signal cabinets with all corresponding internal and external equipment and issued to the Traffic Signals contractor for both Temporary and permanent installations. Traffic signal equipment provided included Controller, Non Intrusive Detectors, detector signal amplifiers, load switches, emergency vehicle signal pre-emption devices, CCTV cameras, CCTV Field access, CCTV IP encoders and Powers Supplies. Received configured and tested Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) cabinets with corresponding internal and external equipment and issued to the ATMS contractor for installations. ATMS equipment provided included Ramp Metering Controller, Non Intrusive Detectors, serial port servers, CCTV cameras, CCTV Field access, CCTV IP encoders, IP network fiber/Cat6 switches, Electronic Tolling System readers, Variable Message Sign systems and Powers Supplies.As Oversight verified construction and installation of Electronic Systems are completed in accordance to Manufacturers Specs, UDOT Specs and contractual agreements. Partnered with contractors and UDOT in the Design Build of I-15 expansion to aid the best product being delivered in the most efficient manner with available resources.

Install, maintain and/or repair of UDOT electronic traffic signaling, variable message signs, cameras, data collection and their associated equipment.

This is a small company that manufactured custom interface circuit boards for the Industrial Heating and A/C (HVAC), Alternative Energy, Generator Control and Backup Power Battery Charging Industries. As a small company I fulfilled many responsibilities being flexible and able to multitask as needed.* Test Bench Technician – Finish assembly, testing, calibrating and repairing CBs.* Customer Representative – Receive sales and technical support calls, resolved any customer concerns, order and repair order entry.* Purchasing Agent – Monitor inventory levels with production needs, research and purchase components and equipment.* Production Manager – Scheduled production, maintained procedures, monitored quality and monitored failure returns and scheduled there repair/exchange.* Engineering Tech – Designed circuitry for power supplies, signal conditioners and data acquisition network interface (LonWorks). Designed circuits around micro-controllers (Microchip and Echelon Neuron). Engineered customization of existing designs to meet customer needs. Repaired failed microprocessor based HVAC controllers (Staefa Control Systems) for Atkinson Electronics and other control contractor customers.* Also maintained department computer systems and software and oversaw department shipping and receiving.
