Oversee site operations to include, but not limited to, quality, safety, training, receiving, cycle counting, production planning, production, and shipping. Promote a safety first culture. Drive continuous improvement. Responsible for site EH&S program. Develop, coach and mentor subordinate staff. Provide regular performance evaluations and recommend salary adjustments as well as evaluating temporary staff members. Ensure consistent application of all organizational policies. Lead the continuous improvement effort across all functions of the site. Address complaints and resolve day-to-day issues.

Effectively lead, motivate, and develop a group of team members and team leaders to reach company, section, and group goals in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control. Communicate effectively with all departments. Schedule training and maintain documentation of training activities. Ensure the standards of quality, good conduct and attendance are being met and issue discipline and/or counseling when necessary. Promote employee involvement through Kaizen, utilizing all T.P.S. tools, common sense, and mutual trust and respect.

Review daily assignments and coordinate manpower to ensure customer requirements are met. Review maintenance assignments and coordinate priorities. Perform routine maintenance adjustments and repairs to blow molding machines to insure quality and efficiency. Ensure employees adhere to and meet quality standards. Perform written employee performance feedback. Schedule training and maintain documentation of training activities. Maintain accurate and up to date production documentation and efficiency reports. Provide leadership to team members in accordance with company core values and issue disciplinary action when necessary. Communicate with other shifts and departments.

Coordinate with all departments to ensure all necessary materials are fabricated and ready to ship. Supervise the loading of trucks to ensure accuracy and on time delivery. Initiate shipping tickets and maintain records of all deliveries. Organize and maintain inventories for all current customers.

Utilize a 100/60 ton mobile electric overhead cab driven crane in a fast paced environment to stack and un stack, assemble and disassemble work rolls and distribute them to and from the work rack, grinders, roll loaders, and other storage racks, load and unload trucks, and several other misc. lifts and tasks.

Supervise a group of production members in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include training, standardized work, safety and ergonomics, problem solving, quality control, off line repairs, adjust and maintain body fixtures to ensure quality from body shop to final fit, communication with other departments, data collection, and the continuous improvement of process (Kaizen).
