Current- Performed ethnographic research to observe users and understand their interactions with the system/product in the context of their environments- Developed detailed study methodology including: study criteria, regulatory adherence, participant inclusion/exclusion criteria, data collection & analysis, risk assessment & mitigation, and design recommendations. - Conducted heuristic evaluations, cognitive walkthroughs and task analyses for interface designs under development- Developed and analyzed use-related risk analyses within a cross-functional team- Led formative and validation usability testing on medical devices to improve product safety and usability according to FDA, IEC-62366, and ISO Standards- Collected qualitative and quantitative user research data through surveys, user interviews, and usability testing - Conducted root cause analysis for observed usability issues and presented potential design solutions for the minimization of issue recurrence- Project experience includes a variety of medical device companies ranging from start-ups to large multi-nationals and working on hardware and software of devices ranging from homecare devices to critical care devices
