Assist account manager with identifying, prospecting, and securing business opportunities to support new revenue growth; develop sales by making initial presentation, explaining product features and added value, presenting proposals, and ultimately closing the sale. Collaborate with internal departments to obtain accurate quotes, special engineering, technical advice, and provide specifically requested field data to internal ICM departments as requested. Enter required information into CRM in a timely manner. Identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customers and company’s organization to ensure long-term business partnerships. Understand industry challenges and stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers benchmarking, technical and financial market requirements and economic and political activities. Monitor competitive products and services; recommend new products and process adjustments to product development and engineering as well as communicate customer needs as appropriate. Maintain accurate sales funnel. Track and report plant information, customer reactions to products, services, and client interaction. Document sales activities in relation to individual and team goals, report progress, and forecast using CRM. Provide customer support as needed.
Customer Service Sales Representative
Provide on call service to ICM customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Receive and distribute all incoming requests. Determine urgency and prioritize. Use and enhance established inquiry tracking, monitoring and reporting system to process all incoming customer inquiries. Follow up to ensure inquiries and requests are completed on time, accurately and closed properly. Provide current account communication information to plant personnel and Account Managers on a timely basis. Assign inquiry needs to appropriate owner to accurately respond to customer. Receive all RFQ’s, enter all appropriate information into master record database and track. Determine cost, availability, and shipping expenses. If data is unavailable, work with the Supply Chain team to determine appropriate costs and details. Deliver quotes to customers accurately and on time. Create purchase order and forward to Supply Chain to check inventory availability or to place order with appropriate vendor or manufacturer. Work with the plant Maintenance Managers and Supply Chain departments to establish and maintain the most effective levels of inventory to meet customer needs. Make sales calls to current and prospective customers regarding monthly specials and promotions. Develop a thorough understanding of the ICM ethanol plant process through internal training opportunities.Responsible for tracking invoices paid and what is sold, sending out renewal letters and inputting proposals to the internal company website. Visit customers to ensure their satisfaction or to discuss product purchase requirements and options as needed. Achieve established monthly sales goals.
