Brian is President and Founder of Brian Low & Associates (BL&A). Known for the quality of his work and integrity, Brian provides advice and coaching to leaders in all sectors. Prior to establishing his own business in 2006, Brian distinguished himself for over 25 years in the Ontario Government. He was the province’s first Executive Lead-Alternative Service Delivery (ADM level), a position he successfully pioneered within the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.Brian’s work has received international recognition. Between 2002 and 2005, his teams received the CCPPP Gold and Silver Awards for Innovation and Excellence in Service Delivery and three Bronze and one Gold Certificates of Excellence within the Ontario Public Sector. Brian has consulted with governments throughout the world including the Government of Japan on numerous occasions, and with representatives of United Kingdom, New Zealand, Sweden, Israel, various provinces and the federal government in Canada regarding private sector involvement in Government Services. A gifted communicator, he is regularly invited to speak and present to large groups and at conferences. A skilled negotiator, Brian led the Ontario Correctional Services teams in Canada's first ever Public-Private Partnership for the operation of an Adult Correctional Centre, and the state-of-the art Cook-Chill Food Production Centre. In 2007, Brian successfully authored “Schools – The Case for a Canadian PPP Application” published under commission to the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships. Brian also provides companies with advice in successfully interpreting and completing tender and contract documents and negotiations.
