PROJECT MANAGER/Drilling Operations• Managed a team of three employees as part of the project team through individual development plans, performance management architecture, and quarterly reviews within PeopleSoft.• The team developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations geologist roles, responsibilities, effective work practices, and standards.• The team standardized Devon Energy's distribution of pre-well planning data and documents via SharePoint.• Implemented weekly Continuous Improvement meetings to ensure results were tracked and measured through Key Performance Indicators (KPI).• Managed over 70 projects at an estimated cost of $350 million. Mitigated numerous problems with pre-project planning that saved over $5 million in unnecessary drilling expenditures within a 36-month program.

PROJECT MANAGER/GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING•Conducted research in aggregates, concrete, cement, and soils laboratories. Under supervision, incorporated innovative materials to assess their impact on material properties and evaluate improvements in the strength and durability of mix designs.• Oversaw planning, design, analysis, and construction for all geotechnical engineering elements within 13 counties within Northwestern Illinois. •Incorporated materials analysis into detailed Soil Reports, providing engineering remediation recommendations for issues such as poor soil foundations, drilled shafts, retaining wall foundations, slope stability, foundation dewatering, and embankment settlement timelines. These recommendations were included in the overall Set of Plans that were let for competitive bidding. •Crafted and disseminated over 1,000 construction inspection/remediation reports annually and approved expenditures to remedy engineering problems encountered during the construction phase.
