It’s always been important to me to work in an organization, an industry, or a profession that is producing something for the greater good. I began my career as an environmental lawyer, but quickly realized my passion was in business and the entrepreneurial world. I am a pragmatic risk-taker; I thrive on innovation; and my focus has been in creating or driving the growth of natural food and beverage products that help people eat better and healthier. Over the years I’ve worked as a Founder, VP of Sales, Chief Innovation Officer, Board Member or CEO of multiple start-up companies, including Izze Beverage, Oregon Chai and Made in Nature. I’ve developed deep relationships with a network of brokers and successfully placed products in major accounts such as Whole Foods, Kroger, Safeway, Costco. I know what it takes to make things happen, to launch new products and to develop brands. Perhaps even more important, I know how to find alternative solutions when the odds seem stacked against you. My experience spans from pre-revenue companies to businesses with $300+M in sales. Continuing to make natural food and beverage companies successful is what I am meant to do.
